Prerun for GitLab: licence agreement

Last updated: 2026-11-04

Who we are

Prerun for GitLab ("Prerun") is a plugin for JetBrains IDEs made by ALGD LTD. ALGD LTD is a company registered in Northern Ireland, company number NI744090. Registered office: 121 Glencam Road, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, BT79 7HB, United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@algd.store. This agreement is between you and ALGD LTD and is governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Prerun is not made, endorsed or supported by GitLab Inc. or JetBrains s.r.o.

Free and paid features

Prerun has free features and paid ("Pro") features. The plugin's Marketplace page says which is which. Pro licences are sold through JetBrains Marketplace: JetBrains handles payment, invoicing, tax and licence management, and its Marketplace terms apply to the purchase itself. Trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds follow the JetBrains Marketplace rules for paid plugins.

Your licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Prerun. The free features may be used by anyone, for any purpose, at no charge. The Pro features may be used only under a valid JetBrains Marketplace licence for Prerun, and only by the people that licence covers (an individual licence for its owner; an organisation licence for the users it is assigned to). You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute Prerun, remove its licence checks, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows this despite this clause.

Your code and data

Prerun works on the CI configuration files in your projects, on your computer. It does not collect or send your code, configuration or usage data to us. It makes network requests only when you ask it to fetch remote includes, and those go only to the include addresses in your configuration and to the GitLab instance you set. A GitLab access token, if you choose to use one, is kept in your IDE's password safe and sent only to that GitLab instance.

What we promise, and what we do not

Prerun reads GitLab CI configuration and predicts what GitLab will do with it. GitLab can change its behaviour, and some features (for example rules:changes) depend on information Prerun cannot see. Prerun's results are a guide, not a guarantee of what GitLab will run: always check important pipelines in GitLab itself. We keep Prerun working and fix problems we are told about, but we do not promise it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for Prerun in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including failed or unexpected pipeline runs. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using Prerun at any time by uninstalling it. If you break this agreement, your licence to use Prerun ends.

Changes

If we change this agreement materially, we will date the new version on this page. Using a version of Prerun released after a change means you accept the new terms.
